Please read these terms and conditions carefully. You understand that by ordering any goods, you agree to be bound by these Terms and conditions.

By accepting you agree to these Terms and Conditions and are aware of:

CAKE ORDERING:

  1. Small, Big and Premium Gift Boxes are cut directly in our shops, therefore you don't need to pre-order them, unless a large quantity. If you require a purchase of a large quantity, we do recommend to pre-order.
  2. All orders for Whole slabs and pre-cut slabs of The Original HONEYCAKE and The Pandan HONEYCAKE must be placed no later than 1 day prior pick up to guarantee the availability.
  3. All orders for Traditional rounds, Halal cakes, Nut-free cakes and Cheesecakes must be placed at least 3 business days prior pick up/delivery to guarantee the availability.
  4. All orders of Wedding bonbonniere and 10 layered traditional rounds must be placed at least 10 business days prior pick up/delivery to allow enough time for preparation.
  5. For this Terms and Conditions, the business days are understood to be Monday to Friday from 8am till 4pm. Weekends and public holidays are not counted as business days.
  6. For any “short notice” orders, please call directly to our State Buildings shop at 0432 175 884 before proceeding to on-line order to check the availability.
  7. We reserve the right to cancel the order, that is placed in less days than the required lead time.
  8. Our Pandan HONEYCAKE and Cheesecakes are all halal. Our Original HONEYCAKE contains a trace amount of liquer. However you can pre-order Halal version. Please note that you can order by whole cakes only. So the sizes you can order are Traditonal Rounds and Slabs, that can be packed into 6 Small Boxes or 4 Big Boxes for traveling purposes. If you wish to order a Halal Original HONEYCAKE, please go through "Halal HONEYCAKE" section on our website.

SHIPPING AUSTRALIA WIDE:

  1. If you wish to have our cakes sent by Express Post, please be aware that we only send The Premium Gift Boxes of The Original HONEYCAKE. The maximum amount of Premium Gift Boxes per parcel is 5. The current shipping charges are listed in our online shop.
  2. If you wish to have The Halal HONEYCAKE sent by Express Post, please be aware that we only can send a pack of 3 Halal Premium Gift Boxes, which is the equivalent to our minimum Halal order – a slab.
  3. The shipping time depends on the receiver’s address, but it usually takes 1 to 3 business days until the parcel arrives.
  4. Please be aware that we do not take the responsibility for any damage caused by Australia Express Post service, as we are not able to affect the transportation process.
  5. We recommend that you have THE HONEYCAKE delivered to a location where someone can receive the order and store it as advised. As THE HONEYCAKE is a heat sensitive, the cream can start melting if exposed to a direct sun light or high temperatures. Therefore we cannot take responsibility for any melting or spoilage when stored inappropriately.
  6. For hot summer months, the parcel will be left at the nearest post office, if noone is present to receive the order at the time of delivery. This is to avoid the cake to be left at direct sun light or high temperatures by the Post office deliver driver. 
  7. Please, be aware, that the order doesn’t come with any add ons. If you wish to have a complimentary ribbon, Small Happy Birthday cake topper or a Greeting card with a note, please pick these when placing the order, as a surcharge applies to some of the ad ons.

LOCAL DELIVERIES:

  1. By local deliveries we mean the deliveries in Perth area. If you wish to order a cake to be delivered to other states, please choose the Shipping option.
  2. The delivery fee varies depending on the postcode. Please, be aware that we only deliver to certain suburbs. If your address is out of our delivery range, you can choose the option of Pick up or Shipping.
  3. The standard delivery time is between 8am and 3pm, depending on the number of deliveries and the driver’s route. If you wish to have your cake delivered in a certain time, please call us at 0432 175 884 prior placing the order, to confirm the delivery time.
  4. We do not offer a re-delivery, therefore we recommend that you have THE HONEYCAKE delivered to a location where someone can receive an order and store it as advised. As THE HONEYCAKE is a heat sensitive, the cream can start melting if exposed to a direct sun or high temperatures. Therefore we cannot take responsibility for any melting or spoilage when stored inappropriately.
  5. If you wish to change the delivery date, this has to me done at least 24 hours prior the original delivery date. 
  6. If at the time of delivery noone is present at provided delivery address, the cakes will be left at the safe place.
  7. If you are purchasing a cake as a present to be delivered to someone else, please provide us with the recipients best contact number, so our driver can call them if needed.
  8. Please, be aware, that the order doesn’t come with any add ons. If you wish to have a complimentary ribbon, Small Happy Birthday cake topper or a Greeting card with note, please pick these when placing the order, as some of the add ons are charged for.

OTHERS:

  1. If you require any additional packaging or cutting of whole or pre-cut cakes in the shop after you place the order it will occur a following handling fee: $5 cutting + $1 Big box packaging/each or $1 Small box packaging/each.
  2. All the cakes (except for the premium gift box) come in a standard paper cake box and on request we can provide you with a ribbon wrapped around the cake box or a carry bag for easier transportation.
  3. Please, be aware that we don’t do writing on cakes, instead of that, you are welcome to purchase a Small Happy Birthday cake topper or one of our Greeting cards. There is an additional cost for the Small Happy Birthday cake topper and our Greeting cards. If you wish to add a note on Greeting card when placing the order online, please select the Greeting card first and the field for note will appear. The Greeting card is not a part of the cake box, unless purchased.

CANCELLATIONS:

  1. For a full refund, cancellation must be made at least 48 hours prior collection or delivery.
  2. If cancellation is less than 48 hours before collection or delivery, the cost is non-refundable as the cakes are perishable and baked to order. The decision as to whether the order can be changed to a different date by the customer is solely at our discretion.
  3. We reserve the right to cancel the online order, that is placed in less days than the required lead time. In this case, a full refund will be issued.
